Me: "Microsoft Word was programmed back before the civil war, on paper cards, and was originally intended for Babbage's difference engine. They have yet to update the code."
Eluiana Elven: "draft one of my Masters essay done! WOOHOOO! (ended up on a roll this afternoon)"
Me: "Now that your Master's essay is done, time to start on your submissive's essay!"
Eluiana Elven: "The Cathars had a very valid point..."
Me: "I love the Cathars, too, though I wonder how their name (as in "cathartic") came to be synonymous with releasing pent-up emotions, and the release of other kinds of pent-up crap. ;-)"
Some guy: "Just go find yourself a nice plump babe to bang."
Me, taking it as an insult given the rest of the context: "But I already called your mom, and she has a headache tonight."
