Got to ride in a Tesla thanks to Uber, which is weird. It's weird because I never imagined anyone rich enough to own a Tesla would ever condescend to drive for Uber. Also because earlier in the day I idly wondered if any Tesla drivers would drive for Uber, and decided they'd only do it to show off to the poors.
My assessment: basically just a normal car, apart from the transparent roof (tinted), the lack of "holy shit" handles, a great huge touchscreen like a giant iPad with backup cameras and a map and other things, oh and also the door handles. It took me a solid 30 seconds to figure out how to open the door. The handle has to be pushed to reveal it enough to pull on it to open. Weird for the sake of being weird.
