Apparently Phil Donahue died recently. Another for the list of people I was certain died years ago. If someone had asked me about him minutes before I read the news, I'd have guessed he died back in the 90's.
All celebrity deaths come in four varieties for me, in order of frequency:
1. "Huh. Could've sworn they died years ago."
2. "Who?"
3. "Good riddance to bad rubbish."
4. "NOOOOO!"
