US was founded by what were essentially atheists.

"thE Us iS a cHRisTiaN naTiOn" No it wasn't. In fact, most of the founding fathers believed in something called Deism, which is pretty far from being Christianity. Basically, instead of believing the Bible, they believed in a God that created the universe and then fvcked off for parts unknown. No Eden, no sin, no Heaven or Hell, no miracles, no Satan, and Jesus was just a normal human being like anyone else. None of that biblical garbage. Just an absent God that spoke to nobody, inspired no holy books; a god that had probably vanished forever the moment the universe began and let it do its own thing. And I think the only reason they weren't atheists was because they didn't know enough science to conceive how the universe could exist without a god having at least started the proverbial ball rolling... but they knew enough science to recognize that such a god, if it existed, had not been in the picture for any of human history.

So yeah. The US was never a Christian nation. It was founded by the closest thing the era had to atheists at the time.

Gods you're stupid

People who think "stupid" is ableist: Do you also think the use of "mute" in "mute button" and similar contexts is also ableist? Because neither of those words are ableist, you're just looking for something to get angry about. Which in this world is like claiming to be starving in the middle of a free buffet.

Christianity is a disease

It's becoming increasingly obvious that Christianity is a disease--a cult and a virulent mind plague. It rots the brain, destroys a person's ethics, annihilates their compassion. If Jesus were real, he'd agree with me that the path that bears his name has become an infection that destroys the soul. Oh there are exceptions, asymptomatic individuals who can be cured, many even curing themselves. But on the whole it's a contagious cognitohazard. And we need to fight for science and critical thinking education, because those are the closest thing we have to a vaccine against this plague. Christianity is a disease, and Reason is the cure.
