If I ever get proselytized at by an Xian, and Fay actually lets me talk, I want to say this:
"Hold on just a moment. Let's examine the facts. So this powerful being that is supposed to be perfect creates inherently flawed beings, and then gets pissed off that these imperfect beings aren't perfect. Instead of scrapping the whole project and starting anew with perfect beings, he tries to force the imperfect beings to be perfect. When they consistently fail to live up to his impossible standards, he punishes them not by spanking them but through murder, genocide, starvation, and plagues. Then he covers the whole planet in water, punishing all the other land animals and birds and plants for something humans did, leaving one family left alive to repopulate the world.
"Now, because of the whole Adam and Eve thing, humanity was already not just flawed, but severely inbred as well. So he goes and wipes out however many hundreds or thousands of years of genetic progress since then, creating another population that becomes even more severely inbred. (Which fails to address the differences between races, but whatever.) But things understandably just get worse, until eventually he knocks up one of these human women to give birth to himself as Jesus Christ, then proceeds to torture and then kill his own son all because of a mistake HE (God) made when he made humans to begin with. But oh, it's totally okay because Jesus comes back from the dead, and 'Yeah, Pops, don't worry. I forgive you for torturing me until I was begging for mercy and killing me, then bringing me back to life. It's cool, I understand.'
"And then of course, all throughout the book we have example after example of God committing terrible crimes like murder, condoning incest, condoning slavery, and making up all these goddamn ridiculous rules like 'no shaving your beard' and 'no eating seafood.' He sends wild bears after a bunch of youths because they called a prophet bald, he's destroyed entire cities just because they weren't nice to guests, turned a woman into a pillar of salt because she dared glance back at the only home she'd ever known, and tells a bunch of different warring groups that they are the chosen ones and then tests each of their faiths by having everyone else kill the shit out of them and oppress them, and oh my gods, I could go on and on!
"And what does Satan, the supposed evil one, do? Tells humans the truth about the tree of knowledge, which scares the crap out of God because if they ate from the tree of life, they would live forever and be as gods. Then, the only other thing Satan does is place a bet with God that Job only likes God because his life is good, and tortures the shit out of him. With God's permission.
"So all in all, we have a God that is such an egomaniac that he can't conceive of the possibility that he made humans flawed, and his temper problem leads him to wreak torture, suffering, and genocide on his own creations for something that was HIS fault to begin with. Your God is a horrible person. Your God is a psychopath, a sociopath, and possibly a sexual sadist. At best, he is an angry Sims player who can't really relate to his creations and is in denial about his role in their sins. At worst, he gets off on causing humans to suffer, and takes pleasure in killing them or worse: takes pleasure in setting them against each other and giggles madly as they torture and slaughter one another.
"Thus, sir, your god fits the description of a demon, a devil, better than Satan does. I posit to you that YOU are the demon worshiper, for devoting your life and worship to such a horrible, evil being.
"Either that, or your god is just made up by stupid, confused humans. Personally, I'd rather live in a world devoid of meaning than in a world where the point of our existence is to entertain the heavenly equivalent of a little boy roasting ants with a magnifying glass, by suffering and dying at his whim."
