Basically, Trump brutally murdered democracy, chopped its body into a hundred pieces, and mailed the pieces to random spots around the world. And now here comes Joe Biden, who is basically a Republican himself, and all the neoliberals are wetting themselves thinking he’s the second coming of the goddess Isis, here to collect the pieces of Osiris, put them back together again, and reanimate the corpse; when in reality, democracy is dead in this country and cannot be revived. Let’s take this opportunity to just... destroy the government completely and give up on the entire concept of government. Of course we’d have to destroy capitalism as well, or else we’d just become a corporatocracy. If we aren’t already one, TBH.

Yes, there is a very serious flaw in the foundation of our law enforcement agencies.
Please don’t start spitting fire and media splashes that hyperfocus on specific points without balancing it in the bigger picture. There is always two opposing sides to any thing. Both must be equally respected and then compromised with honour.
My friends here are starting to glow in anger and there is a rise in unskilled language. Stop it. Stay in the greater perspective, stay above the battle to see where the push and yield actually happen. Most of us have to rely on outside sources for info. Always remember, if you truly can’t see it for yourself, then what you hear is another’s interpretation.
This whole thing is horrific, but we must stay unified in a desire for truth and repair for all. Please, my friends, let’s stay gentle and honourable as we argue.

I am supremely disappointed. But not entirely surprised. Alexander James Adams is one of those people you find in paganism and elsewhere that can get very annoyingly "love everyone," an attitude that should fall apart the instant one runs across Nazis, but these sorts of people tend to be idealistic to a fault. Even Lily had more than a touch of that. As much as I love her, a part of me is almost glad she's not around to spout cold takes like the above.

Anyway, my response follows:

People with that kind of wishy-washy fence-sitting attitude are a large part of how we got into this whole Trump fascism mess in the first place. People who say things like "both sides make good points" or "there's two sides to every conflict" in this kind of context are people I want to donkey-kick in the teeth.

The bigger picture is that white supremacist terrorists and fascists are a problem. And if you don't recognize that, then you are a fucking moron. When it comes to fascism and white supremacy, you are either a fascist/white supremacist or you aren't. There is no common ground. There can be no compromise. There can be zero tolerance for the kind of genocidal hatred white supremacists and fascists represent. These people don't just hate white people, after all. They hate gays and trans people too. As a trans man, you should be opposed to them. I really don't understand how you can be this fucking blind and/or stupid.

The fact is that the cops helped the terrorists into the capitol because they're on the same side. The system ensures all good cops get quickly fired or killed for opposing white supremacy. So all cops that last more than a few weeks on the job are, in fact, bastards in addition to being white supremecists, terrorists, and general all around bastards.

You can either wise up and drop this "let's hold hands with the Nazis and sing kumbaya" attitude, or you can fuck off forever. One thing is for sure, until you wise up, I will not be supporting you in any way, shape, or form. Because when it comes to a fight against people who want to murder people for things they have no control over, you are either with us or against us. A lot of things are shades of gray, but the topic of fascism and white supremacy is entirely black and white. Either you oppose violence and genocide against people of color, LGBT people, and others, or you are siding with evil. And if you decide to continue with this dumbass fucking attitude of yours, then you are worthless scum right along with the Nazis you want to hold hands with.

The Trump Twitter ban is great and all, but they only banned him after he'd been voted out, as a token gesture to save face for giving him a platform for the last 4 years or more. An utterly meaningless gesture on their part. If they really gave a shit about opposing fascism, they would ban Rowling and her little terf gang too. Twitter has proven that they will tolerate fascism on their platform as long as the fascists appear to be winning. When fascism returns again in 4 or 8 years or so, they will permit it. They will be partly responsible for it.

The only way to avoid this return of fascism is to come down HARD on Trump and everyone who aided and abetted him; and by that I mean "convict them all of treason and sedition." Which is, incidentally, a capital offense. I'm praying as hard as I can for them all to get executed for their crimes. It really is the only way to send the most effective message that fascism will not be tolerated.

It occurs to me that by giving him a platform for so long, Twitter's management could also be said to be guilty of aiding and abetting Trump's fascism. Perhaps taking that seriously and adding them to the treason convictions will teach these social network people to treat fascism as harshly as they treat child pornography.

It dismays and disappoints me that we've had Hitler, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Kim Jung Un and his son, Saddam Hussein, Trump, and a bunch of other nasties, and yet most people still think governments are a good idea.

Not to mention the fact that every US president since WWII would have been a war criminal if the UN weren't a bunch of spineless cowards.

Because the Parasite In Chief, Lord Dampnut the Dumpsterfire wouldn't do it, I hereby denounce white supremacy. White people are not superior. If anything, we're inferior. Personally I think the world would have been much better off if the Black Death had wiped out enough people in Europe that Europe had never recovered and the Moors had taken over once the black death ran its course. But that'd be hard to organize, so if I could go back in time and make changes, I would sink Columbus's ships within a week of them leaving Spain, and any other ships from the Old World that dared venture to the New World before they could get anywhere near it. Nobody from the Old World would EVER bother the New World if I had anything to say about it!

This is my long winded way of saying the "Proud Boys" and other white supremecist groups -- who are all a bunch of drooling, mutant Homo Erectus rejects -- have the collective IQ of pumice stone, have less heart than an earthworm that's been cut in half, are uglier than Donald Trump's maggot-colored asshole,¹ and I would be absolutely ecstatic with glee if every last one of them were tortured to death over the course of six months. (As in, it takes them six months of torture each to finally die.) I am not exaggerating, I really am that vehement. I really do think white supremecists are such a shit stain on the wedding dress of humanity that they all need to be rounded up and tortured to death.² I think we could start by forcing them to listen to Justin Bieber music at the kind of volume where you can feel the sound in your bones, leave it running for at least 72 hours.

They say violence never solved anything, but that's not true at all. If we killed all the white supremecists, that would solve a major problem, just like killing Nazis solved a major problem in the 40's and looked like a lot of fun as well.

1 = His entire skin would be the color of a maggot if he didn't slather himself in the shittiest fake tan every goddamned day, so I can say with confidence his asshole is that color despite never having seen it. (You can tell I've never seen it, because I would have gouged my own eyes out with a spoon if I had.)

2 = "OH bUT thAT maKES yOU jUSt AS BAD AS THe naziS!" Shut the fuck up, you torn condom leak. White supremecists want to kill people for what they are at birth. Nobody is born a hateful bigoted piece of dog vomit that's been spread on moldy bread. Their hatred is a choice. If they choose to make enemies of everyone who isn't an inbred hillbilly "cum sock sprouting mushrooms," then they can bloody well start dying for their brain-dead beliefs. Maybe if enough of them start getting killed for their beliefs, the others will shut the fuck up forever for fear of the same happening to them.

Well, it's happening. First they targeted the EPA, and now they're trying to deregulate the FDA. Deregulate the FDA, and you might as well just shut the FDA down completely!

The Republicans have the stooge in office they've long wanted, willing to go along with whatever treachery they have planned. And they're using that power to tear the government apart piece by piece. It makes so much sense, now, why they wanted a billionaire whose only talents are conning people and driving businesses into bankruptcy. They're doing exactly the same thing here. The Republicans are tearing up the government, and when they're done they're either going to replace it with a brand new fascist government free of all those pesky constitutional rules, or just auction off the pieces to the highest bidder, laughing all the way to the bank. The fact I saw this coming years ago gives me no pleasure.

Make no mistake, the Republicans are traitors to their country. Anyone who voted for them should be feeling ashamed and angry, just as angry as the rest of us. More so, even. You were hoodwinked, swindled, sold a lie. How you could possibly have swallowed a load of horse crap that huge when so many people were telling you it was horse crap, I don't understand. But then, idiots are easily swindled.

Funny, almost; you Republican voters spent so much time worrying about communists and anarchists and terrorists, only to find that the Republican Party was the real threat.

Benedict Arnold, Vidkun Quisling, Judas Iscariot, and now Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Mike Pence, and all the other Republicans in office that are going along with this madness. All of them are traitors, all of them should be in prison and awaiting execution.

People have been saying that, when dealing with Trump (and the GOP), we have to maintain our civility, our dignity, our sense of discourse. And it occurs to me that there's something they don't know about the situation that's key.

Trump is a narcissist. (Is there anyone other than a Trump supporter that doesn't know this by now?) But what a lot of these let's-stay-civil types don't know is how narcissists work. (Chances are they've never had to deal with one up close and personal before.)

Narcissists don't see anyone else as real. We're not important. What's important to them is winning. There is no honor, no civility, nothing; it's all about them. This is why there's all the lying that we've already seen, much of which takes the "who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes" form of gaslighting. ("No, I didn't make fun of a disabled reporter," for example.) And when caught in one lie, they'll lie again, frequently within seconds of the first lie. I've experienced this personally and you can watch the orange shitgibbon do the same thing.

My own additional comment: Trump is literally a neo-Nazi fascist. He's literally hiring neo-Nazis, which makes him one, and makes anyone who supports him one as well. I am genuinely terrified of a second Holocaust and a WWIII. People like him and Pence and everyone else working for them want to kill anyone who isn't their idea of normal. The only rational response to an attitude like that is being prepared to kill them in self defense and the defense of others. Or put more succinctly: FUCK CIVILITY, BASH THE FASH!

My roommate told me Donald Trump is really a Democrat and is being paid by Hillary Clinton to run for President as a Republican so she could get the nomination and not get usurped by someone better, and I didn’t believe it until I looked it up and found this.

This one not only supports the claim, but shows he had a heavy pro-Hillary stance.

Everything about him makes so much sense now. I mean, he always felt to me like a parody of Republicans. Now it seems he actually IS a parody of Republicans!

Only thing I can’t figure out is how I’m surprised by this. I already knew Hillary was lying, cheating, and stealing to get the nomination, and I knew she ran in the election that Obama won, something I only know because someone else told me; despite the fact I voted in both the primaries and the secondaries in that election, I have no memory of Hillary Clinton running in that election. She got steamrollered by a man with almost no political experience, who began the online grass-roots Presidential campaign pattern. Of COURSE she was prepared for Bernie, after that humiliation! And the linchpin in her success, making even Bernie back her now, is a Democrat being paid to be a parody of the worst of the GOP. How could she possibly fail to win with a plan like that? Fuck. I already knew I wasn’t voting for her. Now I know for sure I’d sooner kill myself than vote for her.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the result of living in a fascism that pretends to be a democracy.
