School shooting in Portland.

Apparently there was a school shooting in Portland earlier. Far from being shocked, I was resigned. My only thought as I heard it was, “Well, when they keep making schools more like prisons than like learning places, and release them every afternoon risking them bringing in firearms, I’m surprised there aren’t more school shootings.”

If that isn’t a sign we need to scrap the country’s education system and adopt a nationwide public Montessori school system, then I don’t know what is.
