Jan. 22nd, 2017 10:53 amI posted this to an FB group called The Cauldron, which is supposedly a tolerant place for pagans of all stripes, including Satanists, and got banned for an offhand mention of Donald Trump. Sure, they have a rule against talking about politics, but as I tried to explain, it was a mistake; I had just intended to give an example of a famous narcissist and liar other than Yahweh, and hadn’t registered him in my mind as a politician at the time I wrote it. They wouldn't even let me defend myself, or edit the post, they just fucking banned me, so thoroughly that I can’t even FIND the group’s page anymore. I had to use Fay's help to even find out who the admins were to try to contact them.

Beliefs (Read "Somewhat firm thoughts on existence, which are subject to mood fluctuations and change.):
1. I believe that Lucifer/Satan is Good, Jehovah is Evil. My evidence is the Bible: everything Yahweh/Jehovah/"God" does in the Bible is narcissistic and evil. Genocide, the murder of children, blaming his supposed creations
2. I believe there IS no Creator, that Jehovah is a narcissistic liar (much like Donald Trump). The Everything (this universe and beyond) always Is, Was, and Will Be, with no beginning and no end, and therefore no Creator.
3. I believe that life is sacred, and that the Earth is alive.
4. I believe in reincarnation, even when I don't really want to.
5. I believe that, thanks to humans, this world has become *literally* Hell, IE well and truly a place of eternal torment, and reincarnation is the vehicle by which the soul gets tormented for eternity. I believe this is reversible, but given that humans a long history of wars and hatred, and given that - due to a genetic bottleneck 10,000 years ago - modern humans are all extremely inbred, I don't see this being reversed anytime in the next thousand years or more.
6. I'm not entirely convinced that Earth being Hell will ever be reversed as long as humans exist, because frankly I believe that until humans conquer mortal death and conquer all disease, that Sentience is Suffering.
7. I believe humans were given sentience and eternal life by Lucifer, but Jehovah stole eternal life from us out of jealousy, because sentient humans with eternal life are Gods Incarnate, and Jehovah is a God Disincarnate. So is Lucifer, but Xe doesn't mind; in fact, that's what Xe was going for. (Lucifer is genderless, but contains aspects of all genders.)
8. The loss of eternal life drove humans crazy, and now we make our world our own Hell as a result.
9. Some say we need to embrace our souls/spirits/Godhood side and reject our mortal/animal side in order to transcend our Hellish existence, but I believe we need to embrace BOTH our Godhood AND our Animal nature to turn Hell into Heaven. And we need to be aware that as social animals, a lot of what many people believe to be our animal nature is actually part of our insanity as a species. Anger and fear are good as long as you don't let them control you. Some examples: Hatred is anger and fear taken into extremes, and we should work to eliminate it. Jealousy is fear taken to extremes and we should work to eliminate it. | This doesn't mean we should suppress these feelings, but instead understand them, understand why we have them, and work on addressing the causes of these feelings.

Satanic magazines and why they fail
Oct. 6th, 2015 02:09 pmFor all that many Satanists like to make fun of neopagans, at least neopagans can make magazines about neopaganism that last for years, even decades; but every Satanism magazine I've ever seen or heard of has died fairly quickly. And the reason for this is that Satanists tend to be full of the same kind of close-minded, self-righteous fanatacism they supposedly left behind with Christianity. Every branch thinks they're the end all be all of Satanism. So much for "forgetfulness of past orthodoxies." Which reminds me, most of that shitty attitude can be blamed on LaVey, who claimed to be the first actual Satanist, and on his Church of Satan.
Another problem with such magazines is that while paganism is a HUGE umbrella term, with lots of material to talk about and lots of different people with their own perspectives, LaVey did such a number on Satanism that the CoS was the only Satanic group any normies knew about until the Temple of Set, and even the ToS is obscure, especially when compared to the newly rising (morning) star The Satanic Temple.
Thus, Satanism is very limited by comparison to paganism, not as much to talk about, especially if you're not willing to question LaVey's dogma. But I for one would love to have open discourse with other Satanists about philosophy, etc.

Then, too, I think it's important to discuss adding other things to the various Satanism lists. We need to do something about how Satanism is kind of falling apart, growing stagnant in some places and not being stable enough in others. Sep. 8th, 2012 07:10 pmSomething to keep in mind about Satan is that originally, He was NOT evil. Originally, he was like a prosecuting attorney for God. He was a tempter and a challenger to test people's faith, not because he was evil himself. Satan was MAN'S opponent, not God's. So the whole notion of Satan as evil is just stupid.
Thus, is it really so weird to change Satan back to something similar, energy-wise, to His original form? I don't believe in the Judeo-whatever God, I don't even know if Satan is a real entity or not, or what He would look like, if anything, if He were real. Most likely a body-less, shape-shifting energy being. And NOT evil.
If anything, Satan and Lucifer and the others represent goodness, they represent the parts of myself that I consider good, and the traits I aspire to. Because let's face it, I'm a real asshole. I don't really like being an asshole, but it's what I'm used to, and I just have so much anger that the world is so full of selfish, greedy, sleeping zombie people, that it makes me look and act like this massive jackass.
So to those who like to say "But Satan is a Christian figure" or similar crap... the odds are, you don't understand enough to be talking with me. When you say ignorant crap like that, I feel like an adult being shouted at by kindergarteners about something childishly stupid. Go pick up a few history books, read them, come back to me in 5 years when you've actually learned something before you start flapping your gums at me.

I'm trying to decide whether to take a page from Gnostic Christianity's book and have Yeshuah ben Yosef (Jesus Christ) in my new form of Gnostic Satanism or not. Also, trying to decide which of these options to go with:
1. Yeshuah was just a regular mortal who happened to be a High Priest of Lucifer. The demon Yahweh claimed Yeshuah as his own after the fact, killing off as many of those who knew the truth as he could, as a way of getting more followers.
2. Yeshuah's parents Yosef and Miriam channeled Lucifer and [undecided Goddess] into their bodies when they fathered Yeshuah, making Yeshuah a demigod. I believe that while stupid people should indeed be exploited and manipulated to the Satanist's advantage, I believe also that if we are truly to follow "survival of the fittest," that we keep in mind that humanity as a species IS the fittest because of our ability to cooperate. I believe that true socialism is the way to go, that if we eliminate the "starving/homeless/desperate" kind of poverty by providing the bare essentials for life (at least a warm, small space for everyone to sleep and securely keep their belongings; and enough food that people don't have to worry where their next meal is coming from) that we will better the whole species, lifting everyone up. Hell, it's even been shown that the more desperate the poverty, the more brain processing gets diverted to solving problems related to/caused by their poverty. Easing the burden of the poor actually frees up processing space in their brain for other things, thereby letting them do better on IQ tests even in the short term, and with long term freedom from desperation-level poverty, they're free to learn even more and get even smarter. And so the ripples move upward, making the whole species smarter as a result.
So yeah. I'm a Satanist who actually agrees with some of the things Yeshua ben Yosef (AKA "Jesus Christ")said. Do I like Christianity? Hell no. Christianity is to Yeshuah's teachings as modern Republicans are to the original Republicans: that is, Christianity pays lip service to, and worships, Yeshuah, but doesn't actually abide by any of his liberal teachings, just as the Republican party has drifted away from budget prudence and smaller government to where it now stands for warmongering, tax cuts for the wealthy, and religion-influenced government to interfere in people's lives. Christianity is Christianity in name only, and has been that way since the founding of the Church in Rome, at least. To piss on Yeshuah and disregard his liberal politics just because the Church basically went "Ignore all that liberal claptrap. Here, be distracted by this Jesus who is not in any way a recycled pagan godform made from about half a dozen different pagan gods sewn together like a Frankenstein's monster."
So yes, I still dislike Christianity, because it's a piece of shit religion with a mockery of a man being called a god. Also, the New and Old Testaments don't fucking fit together; it's like splicing Die Hard and some romantic comedy together and expecting it to make sense.
But for all that some jackasses went and made a shitty religion out of him, I still respect Yeshuah ben Yosef as a mortal human being who was a good philosopher with a lot of points I agree with. Do I agree with it all? Hell no. That whole "be meek" bullshit may work sometimes, like it worked for Ghandi, but only if your enemy is too gentle themselves to just fucking shoot you in the head for resisting.
Besides which, can't anyone tell that despite what they say they believe, most Christians already secretly believe the totally fucked-up, misunderstood version of "survival of the fittest." Think about that a moment: a religion worshiping a mockery of a dead liberal, that practices conservatism, rejecting evolution and yet embracing social darwinism. FUCKED. UP. And Satanists who believe in the same fucking social darwinism that the Christians do, and yet claim to be somehow different than the Christians... well, okay, so they're a bit more honest about it, but it's still the same fucked up shit in a different container. Christianity's hypocrisy is like pissing in a bottle and calling it Mountain Dew. And a lot of Satanists seem to pour that same piss into a different bottle and call it Pepsi.
