Latest in the Twitter saga

And now, Twitter has basically permanently locked me out of my fucking account. For behavior that isn't any goddamn different from 20 other people I know doing the same fucking thing.

What makes me say "permanently"? The fact that the fucking thing no longer calls me to give me the code to get into my account again after the lockout. It says it's still calling it, but it ISN'T. And the phone is still working, so that isn't the issue either.

I sincerely hope that the people who founded Twitter, the people who run Twitter, and the people who finance Twitter all drop dead tomorrow.

Or take a dump on the plate and charge $20 for it.

Ate at a downtown restaurant the other day where everything was ridiculously expensive, like $8 for a fucking hot dog. Only went because we needed to eat out because of circumstances beyond my control, and my friend insisted we go there rather than look around for somewhere better. I had a salad bar, which had no meat, just eggs for protein, and I only got one trip through. Honestly, $8 for a salad bar should get you a second trip at least.

The next day, similar circumstances, I went out on my own. Just around the corner from Ridiculously Expensive Crapfest was a nice little bento place where I got a chicken teriaki bento box with rice for just under $6, and it was a hell of a lot more satisfying and delicious than that shitty $8 salad at the other place.

Seriously, that first place was such crap that if I had the money to start a business downtown I'd start one across the street where I just took a truck down to McDonald's and buy 1000 of their shittiest burgers, take em out of the papers, put em on a plate, and resell them for $8 apiece, I'd make a fucking fortune.

Sick

Been ill since Friday, with a cold. I'm getting better, blowing my nose less often, breathing better. But my whole body still hurts, especially my head. I hope I'm all well by Monday.

Thankfully, years of getting sick constantly as a kid mean I rarely get contagious illnesses (just IBS and depression and anxiety), but the ones I do get are really good at kicking my ass. Hopefully I'll have this cold's ass kicked soon.
