Hitler was a moron

Any question about why Germany lost WWII can be summed up by this succinct summary of something I watched on the History Channel back when they had actual history shows: Adolf Hitler was a tactical moron, couldn’t so much as win a game of chess against a mentally handicapped dog. What was worse, he thought he was this great strategist and kept ignoring the advice of generals and others who had the experience to know better, overruling them at every turn. (Truly, he and Trump have much in common.) The only reason the Nazis got as far as they did was because Hitler turned pretty much their whole economy over to making war machines, and they had a fuckton of soldiers. That’s really all they had going for them.

There’s a lot of alternate history books about Hitler winning the war, and they’re all pretty unrealistic. Hitler was an inbred moron, his father was his mother’s uncle. The only way Hitler could ever have won WWII would be in an alternate universe where everyone else was equally stupid, or where some alien stepped in to vanish everyone else’s weapons. Or if some actually intelligent Nazi overthrew Hitler and took over. I’d be willing to bet that traveling the multiverse, you’d be doing good to find even a dozen worlds where the Nazis won WWII, out of trillions upon trillions upon infinity alternate universes. You’d be more likely to find a world where dogs became sentient and kept humans as pets, or a world full of nothing but shrimp.

Ban all guns!

Been watching the news about the latest mass shooting in Texas. Some dingbat was saying something about we should train all people how to use guns. Oh yes, what a wonderful idea! Train people to be better killers, what a splendid idea! Honestly, if we did that, the only thing that would happen is the casualties from these mass shootings would double or triple!

Gun control isn't enough. Gun control always fails. Have you seen the video proofs of how many of these gun shows and gun stores that don't even check for a gun license or do a background check before selling guns? They're not following the laws, so we need to get rid of all guns like Australia did. And saying "Then only criminals will have guns" is idiotic. Look, I can say the same about anything. "Oh, we should legalize nuclear bombs because criminals are going to get a hold of them anyway." Honestly, how stupid are you if your argument is "herp derp we can't ban guns cuz then only criminals will have guns."? By that logic, we should legalize nuclear bombs, biological weapons, and trained attack tigers should be allowed to run loose around elementary schools!
