I just thought of a real zinger

Today on "why I might get put in Facebook jail but probably won't because Facebook is sexist" = I got recommended a page called "I survived the war in Iraq" for some reason. I don't know why; I do not at all like the military, and I consider soldiers and veterans to be even more annoying than vegans. So the first comment I made was:

"God you people are pathetic, trying to make yourselves out to be heroes when it is literally your job to murder foreign people for money. You're all glorified assassins."

And of course, there were a bunch of angry comments that I barely skimmed, mostly attacks on me as a person, so I just responded in general with:

"I find all your attempts to debate me with ad hominem attacks to be pathetic in the extreme, and it's just the sort of juvenile bullshit I've come to expect from soldiers, oh they of little brain. You have about as much chance of hurting my feelings as I have of jumping to the moon, you corporate-funded murder monkeys."

I have to say, now, that "corporate-funded murder monkeys" is my new favorite thing to say.

As to "facebook is sexist," yeah. Fay gets zucc'ed (put in FB jail) all the time for stupid shit like calling a bigot a bigot or calling someone a dingleberry. Meanwhile I present as male and get away with all kinds of cussing and insults and stuff that are at least 20 times worse than anything Fay ever says, and I almost never get zucc'ed. You know, just me being my usual abrasive asshole self to anyone who even slightly annoys me. I should be getting zucc'ed every time I post or comment, almost. But I don't. So yeah, sexist double standards.

Schools are where learning goes to die.

School is such a waste of time. If I ever have kids, they're getting homeschooled cuz public schools can't teach anything at all.

And it's all because schools were designed to be places to educate the masses just enough to run the machines in factories during the industrial revolution, and be obedient little workers and slaves to the state. Except now we're reaping the consequences of that in the form of a government that, even under the Democrats, is just a fascism masquerading (badly) as a democracy. Also, the robots run the factories now, so we need to scrap that approach to education and thus the entire education system, and design something completely from scratch to meet the new needs of modern society. We need an education system that encourages creativity rather than actively destroying it; a system that encourages questioning and critical thinking.

Sadly, though, as long as our government continues to be Mussolini's Italy wearing plastic glasses frames with a glued on mustache, we're not going to get that education system we need. And at this rate, with the concentration camps being literally common knowledge and absolutely nothing at all is being done about it even under Biden, I think we have a better chance of spontaneously sprouting wings and flying to the moon than we have of pushing the masses into overthrowing our "fascism lite" government.

If I ever get to be a famous writer, I'm going to be the last person you'd want to come talk at any school, because first school event I got invited to, I'd get up to the lectern and say "You know why you kids hate school so much? Because you came into it bright eyed and curious, burning to learn things, only to find yourself in an education system that actively destroys that curiosity by taking a big fat dump on your creativity, discouraging your dreams, and then utterly failing to teach you anything at all. The majority of teachers don't have the faintest idea how to actually teach their subject to anyone at all, and if you don't get what they're saying and you tell them you don't get it, they'll just say the exact same thing all over again with slightly different words. Because most teachers in public schools couldn't even teach a thirsty man how to drink water.

"And college is more of the same, except then you have to pay for it, and contrary to what you may have been told, college doesn't guarantee you a job, and is an utter waste of time unless you're going to be a doctor, a nurse, a lawyer, or an academic. Save your money and your time, don't go to college. In fact, drop out of school and get your GED. Use the free time to go to a library and learn things on your own time, it'll be much more effective than continuing to rot your brain in this hellhole.

"And remember, kids: if you're too exhausted from this nonsense called school to try to rekindle your desire to learn new things, you can always become a cop! Because cops are some of the stupidest people alive, and the IQ requirement is so low to be a cop that the average person is too intelligent to be hired on as a cop."
