So, people who have seen the news: is Trump in prison yet or is Biden going to pull the "unity" bullshit and leave us having to deal with this shit all over again in 2024?

Congress is still working on impeaching Trump. If they do, it's very likely that the *least* they'll do is permanently disqualify him from any federal office.

And the states that have cases against Trump will just be going forward with them. Nothing that's likely to get an instant "go to jail" result.

People get put in jail for their crimes long before they're tried or convicted literally all the fucking time. It's how the justice system works in this country: someone commits a crime, we arrest them, we hold them in jail until their trial. Yet for some reason Trump hasn't been arrested and isn't in jail, like he fucking well should be ACCORDING TO THE WAY THIS FUCKING COUNTRY DOES THINGS NORMALLY.

But oH No, he's rich and white, so he's an exception.
