Just now, I was thinking about Glenn Beck, and the following came to mind:
"You've heard of idiot savants, right? You know, the people who are developmentally disabled in many ways but super-genius level at other things? Well, Glenn Beck is the opposite; he's a savant idiot. He appears to be normal in most respects, but when it comes to politics, television, and writing, his level of stupidity in those areas shoots to super-moron levels. He is to stupidity as Rain Man was to memory."
