Something to keep in mind about Satan.
Sep. 8th, 2012 07:10 pmSomething to keep in mind about Satan is that originally, He was NOT evil. Originally, he was like a prosecuting attorney for God. He was a tempter and a challenger to test people's faith, not because he was evil himself. Satan was MAN'S opponent, not God's. So the whole notion of Satan as evil is just stupid.
Thus, is it really so weird to change Satan back to something similar, energy-wise, to His original form? I don't believe in the Judeo-whatever God, I don't even know if Satan is a real entity or not, or what He would look like, if anything, if He were real. Most likely a body-less, shape-shifting energy being. And NOT evil.
If anything, Satan and Lucifer and the others represent goodness, they represent the parts of myself that I consider good, and the traits I aspire to. Because let's face it, I'm a real asshole. I don't really like being an asshole, but it's what I'm used to, and I just have so much anger that the world is so full of selfish, greedy, sleeping zombie people, that it makes me look and act like this massive jackass.
So to those who like to say "But Satan is a Christian figure" or similar crap... the odds are, you don't understand enough to be talking with me. When you say ignorant crap like that, I feel like an adult being shouted at by kindergarteners about something childishly stupid. Go pick up a few history books, read them, come back to me in 5 years when you've actually learned something before you start flapping your gums at me.
