Pro-capitalists are morons

So this idiot was like "If you support Bernie Sanders you might as well be a self proclaimed communist cause he's a communist dressed in "democratic socialists"

Socialism and communism are two entirely different things. The US is already partly socialist. Public roads are socialist, as are public parks, public utilities, and the safety nets like food stamps, welfare, and WIC.

And anyway, judging an economic system by the fact that it's not been successfully implemented yet without problems is stupid. I'll bet the first attempts at capitalism had peasants and lords both going "Oh this new capitalism, it'll never take off, feudalism is the way to go!"

Communism is, in fact, the natural state of human beings, along with tribalism. The only thing is, you can't exactly force it to fit modern man's city-dwelling state, it's going to take a lot of time and a lot of effort, but I think it's worth it. Capitalism is dying, running out of resources to exploit, so we need something to replace it. And with 3D printers, we're soon going to have a post-scarcity society, which will mean communism, because capitalism depends on scarcity to function.

He then had the gall to suggest I didn't know how socialism and communism interrelate. My response:

I see how communism and socialism are interrelated. I just don't see how anyone can think that either is a bad thing. Sure, attempts made at communism so far haven't worked out very well, but then capitalism's early years began with the mass murder of millions, the forced enslavement of millions more, the destruction of cultures and languages, the implementation of systematic racism, and countless other atrocities that continue to this day. So far, all the problems and atrocities of the few attempts at state-enforced communism (I am an anarcho-communist, myself) look like nothing compared to capitalism's reign of terror.

And you know, if we can figure out how to get communism to work without exploitation and atrocities, I for one will be glad to see the end of capitalism, with its ongoing enslavement of children in foreign countries, its plundering of natural resources, its pollution and carelessness for the environment, and everything else wrong with capitalism. And I think anyone who isn't a communist is a soul-less bastard who cares only about greed.

You ever see someone smoking hot, who you can't take your eyes off, someone you want to ask out because of it, and then they do something that turns you off so much you're like "Well, so much for that idea"? Because I had a moment like that yesterday. I was at the bus stop from the store and there was this hot black woman I was eyeing surruptitiously, a real hottie. But first, she had this habit of spitting water and ice out onto the ground, and I'm thinking "Okay, a little uncouth but still not a deal breaker. Water doesn't look the same as spit to me, so I think I could still work with this." And then she tossed her cup on the ground, when there was a trash can not two feet from her. And THAT was the moment I was like, "Well so much for that idea."

I kept looking, mind you; she was still hot. But not gonna pursue. A spitter AND a litterbug? Fuck that noise.

The Punisher is evil

I wish they hadn't had Daredevil call The Punisher crazy. He's not crazy, he’s evil. Daredevil should've said, "You're just as evil as the people you kill. Worse, even; you're a serial killer. You're a mass murderer. You should kill yourself, or turn yourself over to the police."

Honestly, The Punisher has this notion in his head that criminals are just pure evil that prey on people for shits and giggles. But most criminals are just trying to make a living. Are they preying on people? Yes, for many crimes, but not all. Other crimes, like illegal gambling, are just providing a service that isn’t legal in that area. Most criminals turn to crime because they’re poor, and crime in a source of income. Not saying that they should be allowed to do those things, but killing them is wrong; they don’t deserve death. No crime is so bad that death should be the penalty.

But I am glad that they’re treating The Punisher this way, because it’s a realistic depiction of vigilantes. Real vigilantes aren’t the morally upright, good hearted people like Matt Murdock, real vigilantes are self-righteous assholes that think they know better than the justice system, taking justice into their own hands. Real vigilantes aren’t heroes, they’re just idiots; idiots who get innocent people killed because of their idiocy.

I may not like cops, because the justice system is extremely flawed and racist and these cowardly pigfucking cops murder innocent, unarmed black people for no damn reason, but as bad as cops are, vigilantes are 1000 times worse.

It would be an even more realistic depiction of vigilantes if they had The Punisher killing people he only thought were criminals, but weren’t, because most vigilantes target people who have been falsely accused of a crime (usually a sex crime) and end up killing someone innocent because they didn’t have a trial or lawyers or judges or any of that. Like the idiots that killed a pediatrician because they were too stupid to tell the difference between the words “pediatrician” and “pedophile.”

Then you’ve got these “Perverted Justice” people and others like them pulling vigilante bullshit, interfering with investigations, targeting both the innocent and the guilty, and I just wish the FBI would take these motherfuckers out because they’re doing more harm than good. Their hearts may be in the right place, but they don’t know what the fuck they’re doing, and they don’t have any legal right to be doing it anyway, even if they did. (Same goes for Dateline’s “To Catch a Predator” BS. It’s just fear-mongering BS that makes the problem look 1000 times worse than it is.)

Honestly, the justice system may be flawed and racist, but that doesn’t give anyone an excuse to target anyone extra-legally.

And the worst thing is, people applaud them! They target someone the Media is whipping everyone into fearing, and they get applauded. I wonder, though, how many of those same people would applaud if a vigilante started taking out all the cops who got away with murdering innocent black and/or disabled people? Would anyone applaud them for getting justice? Or would everyone just call them a cop killer?

As much as I hate vigilantes, if such a cop-killing vigilante targeting murderers in uniform were to exist, I have to admit to being torn between screaming in outrage at the serial killer, and cheering them on. But I very much hope nobody does that; it wouldn’t do #BLM any favors. Now if Lucifer wants to strike killer cops down with lightning, I’m down with that.

Hard Boiled Eggs

Goddamn it! Peeling hard boiled eggs is such a fucking PAIN! Five minutes of pulling tiny bits of shell off, only to lose half the whites because they stick to the shells, is bullshit! I'm not doing this again; in the future, I'm going to buy pre-shelled eggs. More expensive, but worth the cost!
