It ain't right
Jul. 3rd, 2016 08:25 amSomething that bugs me is the fact that menial, body-breaking jobs (of the kind people only do because machines aren’t able to do them as well as humans can) don't pay worth shit despite being dangerous, piling up medical bills for the people working them by causing repetitive stress injuries and workplace hazards, and are dull as Donald Trump's sex life, to boot.
Meanwhile, at office type jobs you get paid exorbitantly for sitting around on your ass playing solitaire all day long. It should be the other way around; people who just want to sit on their ass doing bullshit all day long should get paid shit wages, while the people risking life, health, and limb should be getting big bucks in hazard pay on top of full health insurance paid by the company, and a hefty retirement pension for when their body finally craps out on them.
