I get so fucking tired of reading these posts of people being like “ermagerd, an 18-year-old dating a 20-year-old, how predatory!” Like seriously, fuck you. If you don’t like age gap relationships, just shut the fuck up and mind your own business. I don’t fucking care if it’s an 18-year-old and an 80-year-old, they’re old enough to make their own decisions and it’s none of your motherfucking business. Also, you can’t assume it’s predatory, and you can’t assume the older person is the predator. For all you know, the 18-year-old could be the predatory one! Or neither are, you dipshits!
And honestly, even if you’re skeeved by 18/80, it’s absolutely ridiculous to be against a relationship between an 18-year-old and a 20-something, like what is your problem? Listen, I’m autistic, bisexual, genderqueer, opinionated, weird as hell, and I can’t stand normal people, I can’t afford to be picky about age. I’m already restricted to dating neuro-atypical people who are either queer/genderqueer themselves or fine with me being so, people who are also weirdos like me whom I can get along with. My dating pool is already really small, if I had to date only people my own age, I’d have had one date in my entire 34 years of life, because almost everyone I’ve ever dated has been at least a few years older than me. Hell, I’ve dated someone old enough to be one of my parents! So to all these people who think 18/20 is predatory: Even the first guy I had sex with ever was a year older than me, and I’ll bet most of you think that was predatory, too.
Honestly, I’d rather see 100 posts by pro-capitalist vegans with an extensive unlocked gun collection and a dozen kids than a single one of these posts of idiotic shit-for-brains people getting all butthurt about age gap relationships among consenting adults.
Seriously, fuckers, you can’t fucking assume an age gap relationship is automatically predatory. It’s utter ridiculousness and I’m fucking tired of hearing your mewling bullshit. I’m gonna start blocking people guilty of this bullshit and not even tell them why, that’s how fucking aggravated I am. It’s because of morons like you that a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old who are only a month or a week apart in actual age can get in trouble with the law for dating each other. It’s because of assholes like you that minors who take nude photos of themselves can have their whole lives ruined by being put on the sex offender registry.
Fucking Christ. Goddamn law. They chose the arbitrary age of 18 so they wouldn’t have to do any actual work of figuring out who was being raped and who was willingly fucking. Like, “okay, we’re fucking lazy, so anyone caught having sex under 18 is automatically a rape victim.
