Losing a friend and Facebook sucks
Mar. 7th, 2019 03:24 amA friend of mine went over to the dark side. That is to say, she became a Republican. Which is weird, because she's a trans woman. And is a Canadian citizen, not US. I mean, a trans woman being Republican makes about as much sense as a black member of the KKK or a Jewish Nazi. Then add on the fact that she's not even a US citizen in any way, shape or form? Double WTF.
Oh, and her posts on LJ and Facebook have turned into utterly incoherent ramblings that would make Trump scratch his head... ramblings that are either fueled by too many drugs or caused by a distinct lack of anti-psychotic drugs. Some of the highlights include:
1. She seems to self-identify as white, black, Puerto Rican, and Native American all at once. Looking at her picture, she is clearly white.
2. Despite being a trans woman, one of her FB posts suggests she seems to be convinced that she's pregnant. Or has been pregnant. Girl, you don't have the equipment for that.
3. She seems to be laboring under the misconception that the Democrats are responsible for the transgender military ban in the US. Something she takes very personally considering she's Canadian, talking about how the Democrats pushed "us" out of the military. Like lady, you're Canadian. Not only are you wrong, what you're ranting about doesn't even apply to you.
4. A direct quote of the entirety of one of her posts: "Oh god, that Coast Guard is brown. Stop calling you white you desperate, white loving, self-righteous self-racist leftists. I'm sorry to upset you, I'm really not, but this is a Norway. This is terrorism, an invasion of our well-being, this is not the time to play around and invent the race card. You don't live in the Matrix, this isn't a fantasy world and this is not white-on-Democrat crime and generally isn't."
I genuinely don't know whether to laugh or cry at this abortion of language. It looks like English but makes no fucking sense at all.
5. "There's a racist theory that most people are white, that if you're not you're Chinese, and increasingly racist is when in order to "pass" a trans person, you pass as a white trans person... or a Chinese person." WTF?
6. One post mentions liberals who think Trump is too liberal. Just... what?
I was going to put more, but honestly I couldn't make any more sense out of her ramblings than that.
So yeah, if you're following consortofvenus on LJ or Linda K. Brown on Facebook... that's her. In case you want to join me in blocking her.
By the way, I loathe and detest Facebook now. Aside from the constant battle of the passwords, now there's two-factor logging in with a phone. I have never given FB my phone number and I never will. I managed to get in anyway once I found the right password, but damn... "Add number" or "Not right now." There should be a "Go fuck yourself, Facebook" option.
