"Stupid," "idiot," and "moron" are not at all slurs, not in any way, shape, or form. Maybe they were back in the 1400s, but not anymore. Anybody can be stupid, an idiot, or a moron, it's no longer tied to ability and therefore no longer ableist. They're words to use against people with poor decision making, willful ignorance, and/or deliberate denial of facts. Words change meaning, and none of those words are slurs anymore.
Seriously, "awful" used to mean what "awe-inspiring" means now. It's utterly ridiculous to call "stupid," "idiot," and "moron" slurs. You'd have to be deliberately denying the facts of language evolution to think that. So if you have the nonsense belief that those words are slurs, stop believing such a fricking idiotic thing.
