A message to conservatives:

The real snowflakes are you. You're the ones who can't take criticism, get bent out of shape over the most inane things, and melt under any actual heat.

In fact it seems to me that everything conservatives call liberals is just conservatives projecting their own BS onto others. Let's see... conservatives call liberals snowflakes but have tantrums over the smallest things, like a movie with a woman super hero. Conservatives call trans people and homosexual people pedophiles, meanwhile one of the southern states just made it legal to marry children, and not a year goes by when some Republican politician doesn't get in trouble with the law for molesting children. Also pretty much every Christian priest or reverend is diddling kids as well.

Conservatives call liberals perverts, meanwhile conservatives are the ones most likely to molest their own children, sleep with their siblings, or get caught boinking livestock or the family dog. Y'all whine about the nanny state while also trying to make abortions, same sex marriage, and talking about LGBT people illegal, among other things. You talk about the imaginary war against your religion while simultaneously waging war on everyone else's religion.

Oh and on top of all that, you get so bent out of shape about the most ridiculous things that you make yourselves look like complete buffoons. For instance, all the conservatives who go into a froth-at-the-mouth Karen fit over "pronouns." Yes, liberals have pronouns. So do you. Literally everyone on the planet has pronouns. Examples of pronouns include: he, him, his, she, her, hers, they, them, theirs, you, your, yours, we, our, ours, me, mine, and I. Also 'it' is also technically a pronoun. Literally every time you say something like "I'm a proud American" or "You commie scum" or "If you don't like it in our country, git on out," you are using pronouns. Getting bent out of shape over pronouns makes you look deranged.

Also it costs $0.00 to MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS!

I don't think there's any bigger red flag in the world than "(name) is a devout/religious person" and "(name) is a good Christian person." And note, I'm not talking about most religions. I'm talking specifically about Christians. There is no bigger of a red flag than for someone to be a "good Christian."

For my evidence: hundreds, thousands, even hundreds of thousands of cases of child molesters, rapists, serial killers, and other criminals who everyone thought was harmless because they were "religious," "devout," and/or "Christian."

Which is why it baffles me so much when I keep seeing people in true crime videos saying they trusted someone because they were a "good Christian." People who fit that description somehow make so many other people feel safe and comfortable, and I don't get it. Because to anyone with any sense or brains, like me, someone being a "good Christian" is not only a giant red flag, it's a red alert klaxon, multiple sirens going off, and the emergency alert tone all rolled into one.

Far from such people being comforting or safe to me, I am 100 times more on edge and wary of anyone who talks even a little too much about their Christianity, or someone whom others describe as a "good Christian" or "religious" in the Christian sense. I would literally rather spent six months surrounded by proselytizing vegans than spend more than five minutes around a "good Christian." Because with people like that, the odds are VERY high that they're not only not a good person, but are in fact one of the worst people you could ever have the misfortune to meet.

I'm not saying there aren't good Christians. But good Christians, like good vegans, will hardly talk about that part of their identity at all. Maybe even to the point where you're genuinely surprised to find out they're Christian. Genuinely good Christians are just good people without having to talk much about their path. This works on the same principle as "if someone has to tell you they're a nice guy, they're almost certainly NOT a nice guy." But also applies to actions as well. Obvious cross or Jesus fish jewelry, carries around a Bible all the time, or talks like a preacher are just some examples of such actions.

So yeah. I refuse to trust anyone who's a bit too obvious about trying to be a "good Christian." Granted, I don't really trust most people in the world, but that general distrust is a 3 or 4 on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being highest. Whereas my distrust of "good Christians" is a 13 on that scale.

You know how some Christians tell you the Bible forbids lying? Well they're wrong. The Bible forbids "bearing false witness." This is not the same as lying. Bearing false witness is closer to lying *under oath*. Bearing false witness is a lie that hurts others. Not all lies hurt people. In fact, given the prevalence of "little white lies" and lies of omission in our culture, most lies are either harmless or mostly harmless. Some lies can even be protective armor.

Examples of harmless and/or protective lies:
* "The Beatles? Never heard of them. Are they any good?" (Harmless, and amusing to tell older people.)
* "Oh what a lovely dress." (Potentially harmless. Said by someone who thinks that dress is hideous, but hey, to each their own.)
* "I'm straight." (Protective lie said by someone who is not at all straight.)
* "I'm normal." / Masking (Protective lies done by neurodiverse people to protect themselves from neurotypicals.)

Examples of bearing false witness:
* Lying under oath.
* Falsely accusing someone of something they didn't do in order to get them in trouble or to get other people to hate them.
* Claiming vaccines cause autism. Andrew Wakefield has harmed millions of people by telling that one. And everyone who continues to spread it by believing it and getting others to believe it is also bearing false witness.
* Claiming trans women are men or trans men are women. That one has also claimed millions of lives and made millions more lives very difficult.
* Claiming LGBT people are pedophiles. Stop projecting. Just because you lot are pedophiles doesn't mean the rest of us are.
* Saying "the Bible forbids abortions." This is harmful to people who have accidentally gotten pregnant and don't want their lives ruined. It's also literally a lie because there is actually a part of the Bible where God gives Moses instructions on how to perform an abortion. So yeah, your God is NOT pro-life. (As if all the times he genocided humanity wasn't a dead giveaway on that one.) So you can stop using that argument now.

This has been another in a series of "rare tidbits of wisdom in that garbage book Christians claim to believe in."
