Christian hypocrisy
May. 7th, 2022 07:21 pm"Thou shalt not kill" as an abortion argument... first of all, it's a clump of cells, less complex than any random organ. Secondly, so how about instead of focusing on a clump of cells that are to a human as a seed is to a tree, we end warfare first? How about we end poverty? Then end the war on drugs, end capital punishment, pay for rehab, pay for mental health services, start universal public healthcare including dental, stop persecuting trans people, stop letting cops get away with murder of innocent people (and they're all innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, plus cops aren't executioners anyway)? How about those for a start? How about we put an end to corporate pollution? That kills people. End corporate exploitation of people all around the world too, because that kills people.
Thing is, you Christians like to cite your Bible when it's convenient, but if we took things like the ten commandments as seriously as possible, the things I listed above would just be scratching the surface.
