Vegans are the worst

alex_antoninChelsea Manning just got out of prison, and tweeted a picture of her first non-prison food after years of being tortured in prison for bullshit reasons, which was a slice of pepperoni pizza, and one of the first comments in response to it was a vegan telling her she should go vegan. Then, when she responded that she just got out of prison, the vegan responded with "maybe you'd go vegan if you went to a slaughter house instead of prison."
Just... why are most vegans in the world such self-righteous, hateful pricks?
Honestly, I used to think these rabid vegans care more about animals than humans, but given that PETA kills more animals than even regular animal shelters, I amend that now: these rabid vegans care more about being self-righteous, superior assholes than anything else.
This vegan's stupid, heartless comments put me in mind of a line from an Angelspit song: "God made me a cannibal to fix problems like you."
