More Christian nonsense
Mar. 10th, 2016 08:24 pm1. So a common complaint of many so called Christians who are against government programs for the poor is that they don't like being "forced" to contribute to charities, they say "it should be a choice." And I'm like, "First of all, this kinda thing isn't new: the Romans had government paid bread for all citizens. Secondly, you're paying taxes already anyway, why do you get bent out of shape over some of it helping people? Isn't "help thy fellow man" your religion's number one rule? Third, you complain about paying taxes to help people, and yet you're fine with going to Hell for all eternity if you don't help your fellow man???"
2. I hate it when so called Christians rail against atheists and others who don't follow their shitty religion. I'm like, "Oh so you behaving a certain way out of terror that your almighty Lovecraftian horror "God" will smite you if you don't is just fine, but if someone is a good person just because they're a good person, without an almighty narcissistic genocidal toddler to threaten them, and this bothers you? You're fine with the only thing between humanity and mass rape, murder, theft, and arson being an invisible Bronze Age monster in the sky? Well excuse me, but the fact you're fine with that frankly terrifies me."
