Jan. 15th, 2024 05:18 pmThere exist good vegans. They're the non-judgmental ones that never bring it up unless there's an actual need for them to. They are a rare breed. Most vegans, though, are like a religious cult that constantly go around judging non-believers, calling us "murder mouths" and comparing eating meat to the Holocaust. They're a bunch of self-righteous psychopaths play-acting at compassion as an excuse to bully other people from atop their moral high horse. Meanwhile, if you point out that their vegetables and fruits are dependent on animal labor (bees) and exploited human labor, they don't care. Point out to them that the farms making their vegetables and fruits hurt and kill more animals and do more damage to the environment than the meat industry does, they don't believe you or care. Yes, even organic farming. Hell, ESPECIALLY organic farming because "organic farming" is a largely meaningless corporate buzzword with no certification, relevant laws, or oversight except maybe lip-service amounts that do nothing to actually enforce any standards.
And I personally would not give a single solitary fuck about vegans if they would just learn to BE QUIET about it. Or at least stop being a bunch of self-righteous judgmental assholes about it.
Honestly, they're almost as annoying as the worst sort of Christians. They only lose the top spot because they're not infecting governments like a cancer, the way Christianity is.
