2016 Selection
Oct. 24th, 2016 05:13 amAnyway, I voted. Voted write-in for Donald Duck. LOL no, JK. Voted for the Hillary beast, may she live short and fester, and take Trump and Pence with her when she dies. I was very tempted to vote for Jill Stein, though. Must’ve sat there for a whole hour trying to decide which of the shitty options I wanted to pretend my vote counted for. In the end, decided that “basically more of the same bullshit, but probably much worse,” was still preferable to “nuclear holocaust.” Anyway, not like it matters. The bigwigs already know what they’re going to do. They’re already sorting through votes and burning the ones that don’t match what they’ve already decided. Go 2016 Selection!
Still, I think whatever the results, I’m gonna wear my Bernie 2016 button everywhere I go now. I wanna let people know who I would have voted for if we lived in a democracy. Oh, and at some point I need to switch my registration back to Independent, as I only changed to vote for Bernie in the primaries.
While we’re on the subject of the selection, I hate it when people run unopposed, even for positions I know or care nothing about. I was very tempted to write-in fictional characters on my ballot for the dozen unopposed positions this year. But I didn’t.
