The Christian idea of Heaven terrifies me. It sounds fucking boring. Hanging around for all eternity doing nothing? Terrifying. I'd rather go to Hell. At least Hell would be interesting.
Another reason the Christian idea of Heaven terrifies me: it's full of Christians.
My idea of paradise in the afterlife would be the following:
1. A library containing all the knowledge in existence and all the books ever written, and the ability to read them no matter what language they were in.
2. A room like a holodeck, wherein I could take a break from reading to do whatever the fuck I wanted to and have it be private.
3. A 24/7 all you can eat buffet, but since I don't have a body anymore, I won't get sick or fat.
4. Interacting with and even just seeing other people would be 100% voluntary.
5. No more depression or anxiety.
Although even then, I would need the option to reincarnate, because I would eventually become too bored to continue staying there.
