Murder is murder

What a world we live in, that a man who is known to have murdered people for money can get away with murdering people the state didn't tell him to murder, because murdering people for the state is somehow a "respectable" job. And then the guy showed a clear desire to have power over people, so he became a cop, another "respectable" job. And because of these two jobs, he got away with murder for a very long time until someone finally found the proof that Timothy had been right all along.
This is why I will never understand other human beings: I don't understand why people think there's anything at all respectable about being in the military or being a cop. Because there isn't. One is a murderer for hire who just so happens to work for an organization that is functionally no different from the Mafia, but on a much larger scale. The other is an attack dog / enforcer for that same Mafia-esque group called the state. ACAB - All Cops Are Bastards. ASAB - All Soldiers Are Bastards.
