I will never understand how the Biblical god being evil isn't super obvious to everyone.

Satan was a freedom fighter against an evil, tyrannical, genocidal, overgrown sky toddler. Or he would be, if anything at all in the bible were true. Thankfully there's no true evil God pretending to be good... just billions of morons who worship an imaginary evil God that they call good despite his role in their primary work of fiction being the villain so obvious that even Hitler and Pol Pot look like saints by comparison.

Imagine reading Lord of the Rings and thinking Sauron was the good guy being oppressed by those evil hobbits and their allies trying to break his things and spoil his plans to unite the people of middle-earth, that's what Christians are doing when they claim to have read the Bible.
